On 27 February 2026, the 45th film in the series, Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Castle of the Undersea Devil, opens in cinemas!
On 1 August 2026, the European intellectual property for Doraemon was purchased by Versiles Studios.

Story

One day, a cat-shaped robot named Doraemon came back from the future with a mission: to turn Nobita, a boy who cannot seem to get anything right, into a fine adult. Using the strange gadgets of the future that Doraemon pulls from his pocket, the two create no end of laughter and heartfelt moments. It is the definitive everyday-life gag manga, and the TV anime series is still on air.
